Milton Keynes, December 6th: ŠKODA has confirmed the final UK specifications and pricing for the SUV version of its ENYAQ iV vRS – the second all-electric model to bear the brand’s iconic vRS badge. The ENYAQ iV vRS, which can be ordered from January 17, 2023, follows in the wheel tracks of the ENYAQ COUPÉ iV vRS that was introduced earlier this year and offers more functionality alongside sporty performance and striking design. Starting at £52,670 OTR, the new ENYAQ iV vRS features an 82kWh (77kWh net) battery pack and has a WLTP range of 521 miles. Like the COUPÉ version, the SUV variant has an output of 299 hp and is equipped with two engines – one on each axle. Together, the motors deliver 460 Nm of torque to provide instant acceleration and powerful mid-range response. As befits the sporty flagship of the ENYAQ iV range, the new vRS features a bespoke chassis designed to offer an even more responsive driving experience. The standard sports suspension lowers the body by 15 millimeters at the front axle and 10 millimeters at the rear axle. In combination with the standard progressive steering, this gives the ENYAQ iV vRS the dynamic handling that vRS drivers are used to from ŠKODA. Driving mode selection offers predefined profiles of Eco, Normal and Sport, while a custom slider allows the driver to tweak the settings to their own preferences. The Comfort driving mode is only available in conjunction with the optional Dynamic Chassis Control. The ENYAQ iV vRS also offers the additional Traction driving profile. Designed for driving on unpaved roads or slippery surfaces, traction mode provides constant four-wheel drive at speeds of up to 20 km/h.
