The Liberal Party needs to reconnect with the people to find a “balance” and attract swing voters

dr Zareh Ghazarian, a lecturer in politics at Monash University, says the Liberal Party needs to reconnect with traditional Liberal voters to earn the right to “balance” to attract swing voters with a broad political agenda.

“The risk for the Liberal Party is that if they focus now on just advocating small or specific policy issues, they risk alienating or not attracting those other voters who are those swinging voters,” said Dr. Ghazarian to Sky News Australia.

“It’s going to be a very delicate balance for Mr Dutton and the Liberal Party leadership team nationally to try and get that balance right.”
