South Korean military apologizes for drone incident in North Korea

The South Korean military on Tuesday (December 27) apologized for its failure to shoot down North Korean drones that had flown into South Korean airspace a day earlier and vowed to secure capabilities to counter drone strikes. Kang Shin-chul, a senior official with the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the drones, each about 3 meters tall, are too small to be easily intercepted.
