Sydney’s NYE ​​celebrations will feature a host of new effects.

The City of Sydney Events Program Manager Stephen Gilby said preparations for Sydney’s New Year’s Eve celebrations were “going fantastically well”.

“We are ready and preparing to launch on December 31,” he told Sky News Australia.

“There’s a whole bunch of new effects…that people are going to really get excited about.”
