SpaceX launches updated satellites from Cape Canaveral

SpaceX announced that it launched 54 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit on Wednesday, December 28, in what was the company’s 60th mission this year. Footage posted on Twitter by user @Andromeda7711 shows the early morning launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The satellites were the first of the company’s upgraded network to be sent into orbit. According to SpaceX, the upgraded satellites can be deployed to new orbits for faster service.
