Shaw Communications (SJR) – Canada’s Competition Court rejected an attempt by the country’s competition regulator to block a competitor’s $26 billion takeover of the telecommunications company Rogers Communications (RCI). Shaw is up 10.1% in the premarket while Rogers is up 0.4%.
Li car (LI) – Li Auto said it expects to deliver more than 20,000 of its electric vehicles this month, up from the 14,087 the China-based electric vehicle maker shipped in December 2021.
Southwest Airlines (LUV) – Southwest said it plans to return to a regular flight schedule on Friday and vowed to reimburse customers for any reasonable costs they have incurred because the airline canceled thousands of flights over the past week.
Tesla (TSLA) – Tesla is down 1% premarket after posting its first consecutive gains since Nov. 22-23. Tesla has not climbed for three consecutive days since a four-day winning streak from Oct. 25-28. The stock is still down 65% for 2022.
insolence (AUD) — Audacy shares rose 9.7% in premarket trade after the small-cap radio station announced it would be auctioning Internet domain radio.com with a reported $2.5 million reserve bid.
Mesa Air Group (MESA) – The regional carrier reported a larger-than-expected quarterly loss and earnings that fell short of analysts’ estimates. Mesa shares fell 3% in premarket trading.
Enovix (ENVX) – The lithium-ion battery maker has named Raj Talluri as its chief executive officer, effective January 18. Talluri was senior vice president and general manager of Micron technology‘s (MU) mobile business unit. Enovix is up 5.1% premarket.
