Ever open your iPhone and find your screen is much darker than it was an hour ago? Well, that’s no coincidence. It is an automatic measure that Apple has programmed into every iPhone device as a battery saving measure.
The brightness will adjust itself based on how much light there is in your environment. The less light you have around you, the darker your screen gets.
Maybe you’d rather have your iPhone at the same brightness level all the time. Maybe you have problems with your eyesight and just see better when your phone is at a higher brightness level, whether you are in a dark place or not.
The good news is that there is a way to adjust the brightness of your iPhone so that it never turns you on again.

- Open your iPhone and use your finger to do this Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen
- go to tea brightness icon and slide up and down until you reach a level you’re comfortable with
The other way to adjust your brightness levels on your iPhone is as follows:

How do I prevent the brightness level from automatically dimming?
There are two things you need to do to keep your phone’s brightness at the same constant level, and you need to adjust both of them in your Settings app.
The first is disabling auto-brightness (this only applies to iPhone 14 Pro and Pro-Max models and above) and the second is Disable True Tone.

APPLE’S REPLACEMENT FOR THE PASSWORD
The most important thing you can do to keep your brightness levels consistent is that your iPhone isn’t overheating. Even if you have Auto-Brightness and True Tone disabled, your iPhone will automatically lower the brightness level when the device overheats for safety reasons.
Your phone can sometimes overheat within seconds if left in the sun for too long or in a hot place (e.g. in a car). It can also overheat if you have a bad battery that needs replacing.
How do I check the status of my phone battery?
Go two settings
Scroll down and select battery
Choose Battery status and charging
A display of the health of your battery will appear.
