A doctor spreads with TikTok followers because of poor hygiene.
dr Jen Caudle, who has amassed nearly 90,000 loyal followers and more than 1.3 million likes on the platform, recently posted a video showing the top five areas people don’t wash enough – starting with the belly button, to theNew York Postreports.
“That’s right, a lot of guys don’t wash their belly buttons at all,” she explains in the now-viral clip, which has racked up over a million views days after it was posted.
“Guys, it’s going to be gross! Please wash your belly button,” Dr. Caudle, also known as the self-proclaimed “America’s Family Doctor”.
She then slaps her followers for the next part of their body they don’t wash nearly enough — their ears.
“The top of the ear, behind this little area here, the back and also the earlobe,” she explains.
“I want you to wash that area specifically. If you rub your ear, you smell it and it’s disgusting, you haven’t washed it lately,” she continues.
Next, she points the finger at people who haven’t washed their nails properly.
“A lot of dirt and rudeness gets stuck here,” she explains.
“We don’t often think about it!”
The fourth thing she just doesn’t like is when people don’t wash their legs.
“Yeah, you really need to wash your legs,” she says.
“I’m not talking about running the soap down your legs in the shower, I’m talking about washing!”
And the final way people can show cleanliness at their best is by washing their toes.
“Get between your toes,” she urges.
“You want to make sure you prevent infections of many kinds. Make sure you wash your toes on purpose!”
Some of her followers appreciated her for getting down to basics when it came to cleanliness, although some of them expressed opposition.
“Who doesn’t wash these parts? I thought we were all grown ups here!!” said one.
“I don’t like my belly button being touched lol makes me nauseous and dizzy,” added another.
“I forget to wash my belly button,” someone interjected.
“I feel sad that this has to be said,” said another.
