The Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme has seen its first major change in 75 years.

Some popular drugs will be cheaper as part of the changes, saving patients up to 30% on prescription drugs.

Pharmacy Guild of Australia President Trent Twomey said pharmacists are “increasingly” having to have discussions with families about medicines they “have to make do with”.
