The coffin of the three-time world champion left Sao Paulo’s Albert Einstein Hospital early Monday and was taken to the stadium where he played some of the best games of his career for soccer club Santos.
The club said in a statement that the public could pay their last respects at the stadium in the coastal city outside of Sao Paulo.
Visiting hours should begin at 10 a.m. local time and end at the same time the next day.
The funeral was scheduled to take place on Tuesday at the Memorial Necropole Ecumenica in Santos and will be attended only by family.
