“Isolated” patrons are at risk in pubs and clubs who later seek slot machines

Patrons who have been “drinking” and are “isolating” will be at risk, says Alliance for Gambling Reform’s Tim Costello.

Mr Costello joined Sky News Australia to discuss the increased demand for late night venue poker machines in New South Wales.

“Pubs and clubs that are really predatory when they’re looking for those licences,” Mr Costello said.

“And then of course pubs and slot clubs don’t deal with the domestic violence that ensues.

“People are free to gamble, but there should be limits.”
